Valve has teamed up with developer Headup Games to bring us Bridge Constructor Portal. It doesn't look like a canon expansion of Portal lore, but it still retains fan-favorite hallmarks like talking turrets and GLaDOS mocking your every failure, so it should feel authentic despite the extreme changeup in genre.

As evident by its title, the game is an official mash-up of Portal and the physics-based title, Bridge Constructor. The licensed expansion of the Portal series pulls the design characters from those popular games into brand new gameplay set in the world of Aperture Laboratories. You'll build bridges across Aperture Science-like testing areas, utilizing seemingly every element from the Portal universe from Companion Cubes to the orange and blue goo from Portal 2. It's likely that she will tell you there's a cake somewhere on your bridge building journey, but it's nearly certainly a lie. Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch releases are also planned, but are slated to launch in early 2018 instead. I suggest you stock up on Advil before playing this one. Yet that's exactly what Valve has just announced.

It was billed as a first-of-its-kind global pledge that supports the principles of the Paris Climate Accord that U.S. He only said that the current administration's decision was "difficult to defend".

Bridge Constructor: Portal will be out on PC, Mac, Linux and mobile on December 20. Judging by how things have been going with release dates lately on the App Store, I wouldn't be too surprised to see it pop up sometime on December 19th, but, we'll see.
