  • A Christmas Prince

"To the 53 people who've watched A Christmas Prince every day for the past 18 days: Who hurt you?" the tweet, sent out at 10:52 p.m. local time, read.

But some weren't happy with what they saw as Netflix making fun of its own viewers response. Many took to Twitter to express how much they hated, as well as enjoyed the movie.

After Netflix trolled viewers watching its original film A Christmas Prince on Sunday, multiple Twitter users clapped back, calling the Netflix tweet "creepy" among other things. Check out what Netflix has on deck, including their original, "A Christmas Prince", and so many more.

The tweet resulted in reactions from a number of people who said they were scared about how Netflix monitored their viewing habits and probably created their profiles based on such viewing habits.

When you start thinking about the amount of data that's floating out there about you, it's better to not think about it. Netflix, after all, produced and promoted the movie, which is in the vein of an uplifting, unapologetically cheery Hallmark film.

England Sevens beaten by Fiji in Cape Town
What made New Zealand's result the more remarkable is that they lost their tournament opening game 22-0 to the United States. The All Blacks Sevens side face Argentina in the final of the world series tournament in Cape Town this morning.

Netflix has kept up the snark in its replies, though the person running the account has also reassured some users that their viewing habits aren't worth shaming them over.

While it is not clear how Netflix ensures that employees aren't able to access viewing preferences of individual users, a number of people are questioning if its right for the company to reveal what users watch on a public platform.

There's no denying that Netflix is one of the greatest tech companies of our time.

The popular streaming service revealed in a recent tweet that it knows everything you're watching at home, and in some cases, will give you a hard time about it.
