A Series of Unfortunate Events Will Return in March

Count Olaf also revealed that the series is going to be available on the subscription site from the 30th of March, meaning that there is quite a while to wait.

Despite its popularity in the printed form, "A Series of Unfortunate Events" has always proven a little hard to adapt to live action.

Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Count Olaf, added, "Now that we're in season 2 - and I think the same is true with the books - now the Baudelaires can start to take some control and try and take more action".

In the brief clip, Neil Patrick Harris' Count Olaf is seen wielding a machete as he delivers a cryptic look at the forthcoming misery of the Baudelaire siblings.

Based on the internationally bestselling series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Handler), the series recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans - Violet, Klaus, and Sunny - whose evil uncle Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance.
