  • Fear of the Wolves is a new post-apocalyptic battle royale game from the developers of STALKER

In addition to the Battle Royale mode, there will be "another intense and original game mode will also bring a fierce new twist to the genre".

It looks like zombies are out, and battle royales are in, as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developer, Vostok Games, are hoping to make waves in an already crowded market. The game is a first-person shooter set in the post-apocalyptic world that is Chernobyl. Players are dropped into a radiation-filled Chernobyl as a lone soldier or as a squad with 100 players aiming to become the last man standing.

It's called Fear the Wolves and it sounds suitably grim and scary. The title was unveiled at Focus' annual press event, Le What's Next de Focus, taking place today and tomorrow.

Trump co-opts black National Football League player's death to forward anti-immigrant agenda
He was arrested by ICE officers in 2006 in San Francisco for "being an alien present without permission or parole", Alberico said. That opportunity led to him playing in the National Football League and recording 66 tackles in 2016 before suffering an injury.

There'll be a day/night cycle making you adapt your strategy, while you'll need to locate protective gear to explore the risky off-limits zones, but with mutated creatures howling in the distance, you might want to approach with caution. Aside from the threat of other players however, the game is set to feature dynamic weather, "deadly anomalies" as well as a day/night cycle which forces players to change the way they play.

Fear the Wolves does not yet have a concrete release date, but Focus Home Interactive is promising that the game will release sometime in 2018. You'll be able to find survival gear that lets you explore more hostile areas, but you'll need to be wary of mutated creatures lurking in the shadows.

Fear The Wolves will be having an Early Access phase for the PC before its official release.
