Samsung hasn't managed to integrate the fingerprint sensor of its upcoming Galaxy S9 smartphone into the device's display, suggest newly leaked images of the device.
One of those reports comes from ETNews, a Korean-language website that says the Galaxy S9 will cost between 945,000 and 1,000,000 South Korean Won (KRW), versus 935,000 KRW for the Galaxy S8. There is indeed a shorter camera cutout on the case meant for the S9 which will have a single rear camera, and a longer one for the S9+, indicating we may have the first S-line phone from Samsung with a dual camera setup this year. The Galaxy S10 series is expected to be announced with the moniker Samsung Galaxy X. It makes sense for Samsung to opt for this moniker as it will be an ideal answer to the iPhone X that Applereleased previous year as the company's tenth-anniversary edition.
At least the camera system looks good. The iPhone X starts at $999, and according to Tim Cook, it has been Apple'stop selling phone every week since launching in November.
While no reports for pricing in the Indian market have emerged yet, the Galaxy S9 is expected to have a starting price of more than Rs. 65,000 (compared to the Galaxy S8's launch MOP of Rs. 57,900). However, it is still unclear when will Samsung might roll out these updates, but we think there won't be any beta rollouts similar to the Galaxy S8/S8 + which are pretty close to receiving the Stable Oreo build. Speaking of which, the latter seems to have inspired Samsung to up the price of its new flagship device, with a report out of the United Kingdom suggesting it will cost £100 more than the S8 did at its launch, and that an equivalent price hike can also be expected in the US. It better have a really good camera.
