The Olympic Athletes of Russian Federation team has notified the International Olympic Committee of another adverse analytical finding.

The athlete prominently featured in a video posted to YouTube in which she wore a sweatshirt with the words, "I don't do doping", in big letters across the front failed a doping test at the Pyeongchang Games Sunday.

Russian bobsledder Nadezhda Sergeeva, 30, tested positive for doping following a Sunday drug test, the Russian Bobsled Federation's president told the Associated Press on Friday.

The news about Sergeeva comes one day after a bronze medal was stripped from Russian curling athlete Aleksandr Krushelnitckii, who had tested positive for meldonium in Pyeongchang.

The IOC allowed 168 Russians deemed drug-free to compete in South Korea under a neutral flag, but despite extensive vetting, two of them failed drugs tests.

"It's a lot of emotion for us and just being there, enjoy what we did, I feel it's that we need to remember from the Games", she said.

Joyce called the claim " spurious and defamatory " and said he wanted it investigated by the authorities. Whoever Nationals politicians choose as their new leader on Monday will become deputy prime minister.

Silanteva said the entire Russian team was upset at the prospect of leaving the Games without flying the flag or wearing the Russian uniform.

ZASPORT being the official clothing company of the Russian Olympic Committee, it has been confirmed that Sergeeva is rejecting the results of the failed test.

The athlete has admitted the anti-doping rule violation; she is disqualified from the women's bobsleigh event at the Olympic Winter Games Pyeongchang 2018 and the results obtained by the team OAR Sergeeva/Kocherzhova at the same event are disqualified. It adds, "A few days before that, on February 13, her sample was clean".

Meldonium, a widely used anti-ischemia medication, was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency right at the start of 2016, a move which affected hundreds of athletes who were caught off-guard by the ban.

Sergeyeva had said initially that she took no medication. According to Ruggiero, an International Olympic Committee member, 75 percent of the Russian athletes in Pyeongchang were not on the suspended Sochi squad.
