Sam Nunberg Says He Will Refuse Subpoena in Russia Probe

  • Former Trump Aide Says He Was Having A

Nunberg gave a series of unplugged interviews with anchors such as MSNBC's Katy Tur, CNN's Jake Tapper and CNN's Erin Burnett on Monday in which he repeatedly promised to defy a grand jury subpoena from special counsel Robert Mueller to testify about the Russian Federation investigation.

George Nader, a Lebanese American businessman who helped organize and attended the Seychelles meeting, has testified on the matter before a grand jury gathering evidence about discussions between the Trump transition team and emissaries of the Kremlin, as part of Mueller's investigation into Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 election.

Mueller has indicted 13 Russians and four former Trump aides, three of whom have entered plea deals involving co-operation.

Nunberg then went on multiple MSNBC and CNN shows to publicize his refusal to comply with the Mueller probe.

Nunberg also accused former Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page of having played a role in the foreign attack on the election.

"But I don't know that, for sure", he said.

Even after Nunberg was sacked from the campaign for his racist Facebook posts, he remained in contact with Roger Stone, a longtime Trump confidant, and Steve Bannon, who held top leadership positions in the campaign and the White House.

Jeff Bezos moves to top spot on Forbes' annual billionaires list
Forbes identified a record 2,208 billionaires around the world in 2018, up from 2,043 past year . The magazine estimates his net worth at $3.1 billion, down from $3.5 billion past year .

He was sacked in August 2015, over racially charged Facebook posts, after he and Stone lost a internal power struggle with then-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

Hope Hicks, who resigned last week as Trump's communications director.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Nunberg challenged Mueller's power to take any action against him should he keep his word and abstain from Friday's grand jury appearance, adding that he didn't want to pay the travel expenses. "When I interviewed him, and I interviewed him early, he admitted to me he was drinking". "I'm not interested in spending hours going over and trying to pull emails". That I've had with Steve Bannon and Roger Stone?

An adviser to the United Arab Emirates is reportedly cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller.

In the light of Nunberg's 180 flip, he said that the media treated him fairly, that he would comply with Mueller's email inquisition, and even offered an apology to Sarah Huckabee Sanders who he completely trashed.

Nunberg fired back with a tirade about Sanders to NY1, the NY cable news channel: "If Sarah Huckabee wants to start debasing me, she's a joke". "From our perspective, we're going to cooperate with the special counsel's office and the reason we're so comfortable doing so is there was absolutely no collusion with the Trump campaign".

A former campaign aide to Donald Trump appears to have changed his mind and will not fight a subpoena he says he has received in the Russian Federation investigation - after daring special counsel Robert Mueller to arrest him in multiple media appearances. Garrett Graff, a Mueller biographer, also vouched for Mueller's sense of duty when he pointed out of Mueller's departure from the private sector in the 90s, which was fueled by Mueller's inability to defend those who are obviously guilty, instead telling them, "It sounds like [they] should go to jail".
