  • Kolkata Police begin investigation on charges level against India's pacer Md Shami after wife Hasin Jahan reports to police

Hasin Jahan alleged that Shami, 27, and members of his family had even tried to "kill" her.

Hasin on Thursday lodged a written complaint with the police against the cricketer, alleging domestic violence and infidelity. "When I warned him with legal action he said nothing would happen to him and that it was she and not he who would be on the losing side". The other charges recorded against him are under Section 307 - attempt to murder, Section 323 - punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 - rape, Section 506 - criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34. They only told me to sacrifice as he is a man and has the license to play around.

"Everyone in their family used to torture me". Jahan, 26, a former model and KKR cheerleader, met Shami in 2011.

"I have been informed by Kolkata Police officers over phone that they have slapped non-bailable sections against Shami and starting a case against him", revealed Jahan's lawyer, Zakir Hossain. However, soon after this allegation made by his wife, Shami denied it straight away. I made you listen to the recording where he has accepted all his extra-marital affairs. The last section was brought against Mohammed Shami's elder brother.

Chip & Joanna Gaines Are Having a Baby Boy
Recently, the couple made headlines after announcing the news of their new television show , "Behind the Design". Since the new baby is a son, a name beginning with D would continue the tradition of his two older brothers.

She also alleged that Shami has been physically and verbally abusing her for the past two years. "Hasin (wife) and her family have been saying that we will sit and talk out all issues, but I don't know who has been misleading her", he told ANI. He has also married a Pakistani girl and went to see her while returning from the South Africa tour.

"Though I raised the issue with him hoping he would correct himself he refused to do so and continued with his dirty ways", Jehan said. "The current allegations against me are completely false and are a part of a conspiracy aimed to defame me", Shami said on Twitter.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India dropped Shami from a list of contracted players unveiled Wednesday, which saw skipper Virat Kohli and other top Test players awarded salaries just above $1 million. She further added that she had given time to her to rectify his mistakes, but he would vent his anger on her.
