"It's great to see Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and the Pearl Street Films team using their influence to create opportunities for people from underrepresented groups to enter the industry", they said.

"There has always been available, to everybody that does a negotiation on a film, an inclusion rider, which means that you can ask for and/or demand at least 50 percent diversity in not only the casting but also the crew", McDormand explained to reporters on March 4.

Filmmaker duo/best buds forever Ben Affleck and Matt Damon today announced they'd be adopting inclusion riders for all their future production deals, off the back of Frances McDormand's Oscar speech bringing the concept into the mainstream.

In a speech at the Oscars, Frances McDormand made mention of the inclusion rider.

Colleague Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni confirmed the news on Twitter as she thanked Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan for adopting the rider on his production company, Putlier Society Productions.

Donovan Mitchell scored 27 points, including 15 during the last 3:08 of the third quarter to put Utah in front for good. Cavaliers: Kyle Korver scored 12 points while playing with a bruised right foot.

While some are applauding Affleck and Damon pushing for more inclusivity on their own projects, others may give them the side eye for their own roles and past comments and alleged actions on inclusivity and sexual harassment. Their reputations were badly tarnished by their association with Harvey Weinstein and what was perceived as their tone-deaf responses to #MeToo efforts to denounce a Hollywood culture that has long enabled sexual misconduct and gender inequality.

Damon was accused of being privileged and out-of-touch following a 2015 episode of his HBO reality show "Project Greenlight".

Not surprisingly, many people pointed out that he, as a straight actor, has never had to keep quiet about the fact that he's married to a woman and has a family.

"I just found out about this last week".
