India talks tough to China, says ready for any situation

India and the United States on Tuesday committed themselves to strengthening information sharing on some of the world's most unsafe terrorist groups and individuals apart from exchanging views on efforts to counter the financing and operations of regional and global terrorist organisations. He said, "in Doklam area, which we call close proximity or sometimes the face-off site, the area where there was close confrontation or close proximity between Indian and Chinese military troops, that there is no change taking place today".

"We are alert and ready for any unforeseen situation in Doklam. We will maintain our territorial integrity", she had told reporters in Dehradun on the sidelines of a function to honour families of distinguished Armymen, war widows and veterans, as per PTI.

According to report, the latest satellite imagery from the area suggests that while road construction at the point of contention has stopped, China has been working through the winter to create an alternate route that will give it access to the southern part of the plateau.
