Sega Ages has been announced for the Nintendo Switch.

Meant as the SEGA version of Nintendo's NES and SNES Classic, the SEGA MegaDrive Mini will go on sale this year, though there wasn't any more details as to what games will be on the console other than possibly a way of asking the audience what they want.

The titles are expected to begin arriving this summer.

The collection features games such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe and Streets of Rage.

That said, M2 will be handling the porting of these upcoming games, so this is really a good news.

Jaguar Land Rover to cut 1000 jobs at Solihull
The firm's Jaguar sales are down 26% so far in 2018 compared to 2017, while Land Rover sales have dropped 20%. The British vehicle manufacturer's sales have been hit heavily by the demonisation of diesel this year.

As promising as that sounds, the source interview linked appears to suggest that Sega is simply interested in distributing the AtGames Mega Drive Flashback which, per the review above.is not great. These games are being released under the Sega Ages label.

Recently, we came reported that Sega will be working with the Heavy Rain lead designer Caroline Marchal on new narrative games.

The new retro console, which you can see in the trailer below, is set to land at some point in 2018, thirty years after its initial emergence in Japan back in 1988. Unfortunately, Sega's fifth and sixth-generation consoles, the Saturn and the Dreamcast, were not as commercially successful and the Japanese company bowed out of the console business.until now.

SEGA Fes 2018 is a SEGA hosted event going on from April 14 to April 15 that pretty much showcases everything SEGA.
