Buffon slams heartless Michael Oliver for the last minute debacle

Buffon criticized the English referee Michael Oliver for giving Real Madrid's Lucas Vazquez a penalty in the 92nd minute after being pushed inside the box by Juventus' defender Medhi Benatia.

"The team gave its all, but a human being can not destroy dreams like that at the end of an extraordinary comeback on a dubious situation", Buffon said in an emotionally charged interview.

"I don't have to make up for anything, because I am a human being who puts passion, sentiment and anger into what I do", Buffon told the Le Iene television programme via Football Italia.

Chiellini was spotted seemingly waving imaginary money at the Real players, which suggest that they had paid referee Oliver.

Italy and Juventus goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, was sent off in what might be his last Champions League appearance as his side nearly completed a comeback victory against Real Madrid, but failed.

"And a dubious incident at the 93rd minute when we had a clear penalty denied [for a challenge on Juan Cuadrado] in the first leg, you can not award that at this point".

Park In-bee falls short at Lotte Championship
Although Park once again came up short of winning this week, she is making a great comeback on the Tour this season. The Chinese star finished at 5-under 67 at Ko Olina Golf Club.

The Italian side were leading 3-0 on the night at the Bernabeu to level the tie on aggregate. Buffon later came under fire for calling the official "a bag of rubbish for a heart" in the post-match conference.

"If you do not have personality and courage, you should go to the stands to watch the match with your wife and with a Sprite".

"I don't understand why they protested the penalty", he said.

"On the rest there is little to say: to report a couple of dives of Ronaldo in the Juventus area and a goal canceled for offside of Isco".

Should he decide to stay on, he will miss the first match, if not more, of next season's Champions League campaign with Juve. He would have left it running, turned around and let the two teams fight it out in extra time. Let the pitch do the talking.

"We are the best club in the world and when you're the best club in the world, there is a certain degree of jealousy". It means you don't know where you are, what teams you face, what football is: "you don't really know shit". It all ended there, but naturally in the heat of the moment one does feel I'm not saying penalised... "By conceding the goal after a minute, you drop your head and give them life". A referee in Madrid for the quarter-final must have seen the first leg, realise the [Paulo] Dybala red card was excessive and understand the various situations.
