  • Moto G6 G6 Plus G6 Play announced Price specs and features

Apart from G6 series phones, Motorola also unleashed the relatively affordable Moto E5, Moto E5 Play, and Moto E5 Plus.

Moto G6, the successor to last year's Moto G5, has been launched at a price of $249 which is Rs 16,000 approximately whereas Moto G6 Play costs $199, roughly Rs 13,000. The phones have received a lot of leaks and rumors till date which have been made official by the giant. Finally, the cheapest phone on the Moto G6 play will come to Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America over the coming months. Other common features are the reliance on Qualcomm processors, new "AI experiences", and Android Oreo.

The plus model comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 630 processor.

The new Moto G6 has a similar, somewhat quintessential Motorola design seen on previous generations.

The Moto G6 comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ Max Vision display that offers more screen and less bezel. Note, each of the fresh smartphones operated by Android operating system eighth version, and displays these devices conform to the fashionable aspect ratio of 18:9. The Moto G6 Plus remained the star of the show with its premium features and as we wait for its arrival in India, here's a quick comparison against one of the most popular smartphones - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Moto G6 Play does not have this. Moto G6 puts emphasis on a new design with 3D glass on the G6 and G6 Plus variants.

Concerning hardware, the Moto G6 Play comes powered by a Snapdragon 428 processor with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB storage.

California regulator launches investigation into Tesla over injury reports
Many of them were first-day reservation holders, which could mean that Tesla is implementing the fix to the invite rollout. Other injuries like sprains and repetitive strain injury from building the cars were also allegedly not logged.

RAM: 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage, 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, expandable memory with microSD. In the camera department too, the G6 Play falls behind, with a single 12 MP rear camera. The dual sensor delivers features known to users of Moto Z2 Force, X4 and G5S Plus, such as photos with blurred backgrounds (bokeh mode).

The Moto logo on the back isn't dimpled anymore but the camera module remains circular, even if it does still stick out a little way. It features a combination of 12 Megapixel + 5 Megapixel of sensors. The G6 also uses Gorilla Glass on the back, giving it the look of a flagship device. Lastly, the Moto E5 Plus settles for a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Moto G6 also has a dual-rear camera which is 12MP+5MP though there is no Dual Pixel technology.

The Moto G6 Plus comes with a 3,200mAh battery with 15W TurboCharging support via USB Type-C port. The Moto G6 Play has the biggest battery size out of the three phones. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo it is backed by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging. Other features include 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and 3.5mm Audio jack.

- The Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus have a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, while the G6 Play has it embedded on the back. But Motorola's spotty update record is precisely why I can't help but think that the Moto G6 absolutely should have run on Android One. The handset will be offered in Black, Flash Gray, Mineral Blue and Fine Gold colour options with pricing starting at €170 (Rs 13,500 approx).
