Cops Suspended for Using Coin Flip App to Determine Speeder's Fate

  • Cops who arrested a speeding female motorist on the FLIP OF A COIN are placed on leave

Though the coin reportedly landed on tails, the officers made a decision to arrest Webb anyway.

"It was appalling", adding that both Wilson and Grant have since been placed on administrative leave. "Yeah, so release", Brown asid.

They handcuffed Webb, who is seen crying in the video, and arrested her on charges including reckless driving.

In the footage, Webb can be seen handing her driver's license and keys to the officer, who walks to her patrol vehicle.

But then Wilson suggests a police code for arrest, and the two can be heard laughing.

Officer Courtney Brown later admitted to her partner, Officer Kristee Wilson, that she did not have a radar to clock how fast Webb was driving.

Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant said in a statement released Friday he was appalled by their behavior.

"I think they should be fired I don't think at all that they should be getting a paid vacation", said Webb.

An unnamed source said "Although it's early days and they haven't been together for long, Rick is absolutely besotted with Amp". They fought against mother nature to pump out floodwater and divert water flows amid Thailand's wet monsoon season.

Webb told CNN she spent the day in jail.

Footage captured on the officers' body cameras shows one officer approaching the driver, accusing her of going 80 miles per hour, with Webb apologizing and saying she was late to her job at a salon. "These two officers alone are responsible for their decision-making".

Sarah Webb, however, does not think putting the officers on leave is a severe enough outcome.

"Michael Jordan? [The slang for the arrest code]" Brown said.

Prosecutors have dismissed the case against Webb, according to NBC affiliate WXIA-TV in Atlanta.

A body-worn camera recorded an officer's comments to Webb: "The ground's wet".

"I do want people to know about it and I do want people to people to hear about this because I don't want this to happen to again", said Webb.

With the body cam still recording, the cop opens up a coin toss app on her phone. Webb said she didn't know that her fate had relied on a coin toss until the television station contacted her weeks later, CBS Los Angeles reported. "After I became aware that this incident occurred, I immediately initiated an internal investigation into the matter".
