  • Thieves with stroller allegedly steal shark from San Antonio aquarium

A suspect accused of helping to steal a shark from a Texas aquarium in a baby stroller over the weekend reportedly confessed to the freaky crime and told officials the animal is still alive.

One of the men reached into the tank and removed a two-foot, gray in color, horn shark from the exhibit.

We have been working closely with Leon Valley and San Antonio police departments to recover the animal and apprehend the suspects.

Three people pulled off a freaky heist involving a stolen shark from the San Antonio Aquarium, police say.

The shark and stroller were placed in a 4-door maroon Chevrolet Silverado truck, police say.

The man, who police have not named, was one of three people people captured on surveillance video stealing the shark using a stroller by disguising the shark as a baby.

The chief also said two suspects have confessed to the aquatic crime. "But it turns out someone actually went inside the aquarium there in Leon Valley and stole a horn shark".

"He had a lot of different marine animals in the home", Mr Salvaggio said. It said the solution caused "harm to other wildlife" and added, "If it weren't for the fast acting experienced staff, the bleach would have done more damage".
