  • ‘Meet the Press’ Plays Tape of John Kelly Firing Omarosa Manigault Newman

"It's important to understand that if we make this a friendly departure ... you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation".

The book contains a number of explosive claims, including that there are tapes of Trump saying the n-word on the set of his former reality TV show "Celebrity Apprentice".

Former White House aide Omarosa attacks President Trump in her new tell-all book; Siraj Hashmi of the Washington Examiner weighs in. "God [expletive]. I don't love you leaving at all".

The audio recording - which does not provide the full conversation with Trump - allegedly dates back to the day after Kelly fired Manigault-Newman. And she went so far as to try to go after me.

"If Omarosa carried for example a cellphone into the Situation Room, then not only did she record conversations there, but so potentially has any country or criminal organization that thought to hack her phone", Frum continued.

In it, Manigault Newman describes a mentally waning, racist and lewd, charismatic but emotionally abusive, man overseeing a conniving cast of aides and family members whose varied goals rarely include the betterment of the nation.

'This is somebody who gave a glowing appraisal of Donald Trump the businessman, the star of The Apprentice, the candidate, and indeed the president of the United States, ' she said.

The White House questioned her "character and integrity". But, now that she's a Trump trasher she's "the toast of the town".

Indonesia quake : Survivors pulled from rubble amid aftershocks
A woman's body was recovered from the rubble of a collapsed mosque in Bangsal district in the north of the island. Ms Bishop said Lombok airport was still open for Australians wishing to leave the "devastated" islands.

The war of words between Trump and Manigault Newman is escalating days ahead of the release of her memoir, "Unhinged".

Reacting to the tape, White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley described the frenzy as the work of a "disgruntled" and "self-serving" former official.

Spicer rebutted Manigault Newman's claim that he signed a non-disclosure agreement and called her assertion that he was paid hush money "false".

As noted, Omarosa told her ever-expanding side of the story to Savannah Guthrie on NBC's Today show this morning, complete with the broadside on Trump's credibility. In it, Kelly argued that there have been "significant integrity issues" that prompted him to fire her.

She added: "Is General Kelly running this country, or is the president running this country?"

CNN host John Berman said during his interview of Short that Trump had repeatedly promised to only hire "the best people" in his White House.

Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway responded on ABC's "This Week" that confidentiality agreements in the White House exist for a reason. The Situation Room is the inner sanctum of the White House.

The Republican National Committee has sent multiple email blasts to reporters after Manigault Newman's media appearances, one of which calls her a "terrible liar".
