Four Tips For Prolonging Your Makeup

Written by Jessica Carter

Description: Prolong the wear of your makeup with these simple tricks!

Every gal would like her makeup to stay intact and what’s more important in place, when she has to run her errands or suffer through a hot and humid day. If you want your face to last during your visit to Bon-Bon salon and spa, this article is for you!

1. Use Two Primers

Want your skin to look extra flawless and your pores to be as nonexistent as possible? Consider using two different primers. First of all, choose the mattifying one, which will help you to control the oil production and will keep your skin grease-free. The second primer should be designed to shrink and fill in your pores. This little trick will also prolong the wear of your foundation and concealer.

2. Always Set Foundation

If you have a long and tiring day in front of you, don’t opt out of using your setting powder. It will eliminate your chances of getting shiny and slippery even further. Dust a little bit of product all over your face concentrating on your T-zone, which tends to produce more oil. Apply more powder to the areas, which have more foundation or concealer on them; otherwise, they will crease and move around.

3. Buy A Setting Spray

Make sure to invest in a high-quality makeup setting spray and use it after you are done with your makeup. Sprinkle some of it on your face throughout the day if you need to touch up your powder or foundation as well.

4. Don’t Ditch Eyeshadow Primer

Believe it or not, but eyeshadow tends to bleed and crease too, especially if you don’t have a base for it. You can either buy a commercial eyeshadow primer or use a concealer you already have. Apply the product to your lids and blend carefully before locking it in with your translucent powder.

Stick to these simple recommendations from http://bonbonsalon.com/ if you want your makeup to last as long as possible!
